6-7-8 of February at the SamuExpo. We will present a high-precision, fiber laser cutting machine, developed together with the University of Udine. In fact, the engineering research was conducted with the students of the Polytechnic Department of Engineering and Architecture, led by Professor Giovanni Totis. Professor Totis researched the performance, processed data, identified alternatives until the best was found. We initially decided to make the support axis for the laser head in aluminum. Once successful, we ventured a further novelty: making it with carbon fiber. Mission accomplished! The performance of the machine, already remarkable, immediately increased because the carbon is particularly light and therefore increased the speed and dynamics of the machine.
